The Halifax Moosheads are reportedly intersested in Lewiston MAINEiacs defenseman Garrett Clarke. Metro Halifax reported last week the Moose are in trade talks with the MAINEiacs.

The 17 year old defenseman had 6 goals and 3 assists in olny 46 games last season. Clarke may be most remembered for his dramatic entrance at last seasons QMJHL entry draft in Cape Breton.

The MAINEiacs are also reportedly involved in a blockbuster with the Quebec Remparts involving goaltender Peter Delmas and super pest Danick Paquette.

The tred period begins one day, June 5, before the QMJHL entry draft in Moncton.

Beaulieu to the Knights

London Free Press recently had an article about the re-hiring of Jacques Beaulieu with the London Knights. He is being welcomed back with open arms by the organization he won a Memorial Cup with in 2005.

"I don't think I failed," he said. "When you fail, it's different, it's
harder to accept. I did a lot of good things. They won 15 games their inaugural
year, 20 the year after then 41 and 37. We put the program on the map and the
final four last year. I was quite happy with what I achieved here."
