Despres Nominated


Simon Despres succes will continue following the season, as he has been nominated for two awards. The Quebec Major Junior Hockey League announced today that the "horse" is up for the Top Prospect award and best Defensive Defenseman award. Despres will be joined by Payton Liske in Montreal, who is up for the top scholastic player award. The entire list can be seen below:

Seven other awards, including the Jean-Rougeau, Luc-Robitaille and Robert-Lebel trophies, will be handed out during on-ice presentations at the start of the playoffs on Friday, March 20.
