Reports out of Saint John and Gatineau are saying the Sea Dogs have acquired the rights to former PEI Rocket netminder Marc-Antoine Gelinas in exchange for an eighth or fifth round pick.
Gelinas brings along experienceto a young goaltending squad led by last seasons backup Karel St-Laurent. Gelinas is known for being inconsistent.
No official announcement has been made yet.
It is also reported that defenseman Nathan Bealieau has broken a bone in his foot following Fridays intra-squad game. Check out Station ntaion for the latest.
