LEVESQUE OFF TO HOT START

Gabriel Levesque has impressed his coaching staff this season.

"One-on-one, he's probably the best player in our league," said Huskies head coach Andre Tourigny. "He sees the ice very well, he moves the puck very well, he can score goals. He's a really good playmaker. It's very tough to stop him one-on-one, even if he plays against big players. He can move the puck, he's very shifty, he can skate."

His strong play has produced results so far this season. He leads the Huskies with eight goals and 24 assists in 23 games this season. His previous career high in points was 37 last season.

The 19-year-old Montreal native was drafted in the fifth round of the 2007 QMJHL entry draft. His play this season has gotten the attention of scouts for the upcoming NHL draft after being passed over in 2009.

"He's a fun kid to watch," NHL Central Scouting's Chris Bordeleau told NHL.com.
