Station Nation Facts:

  • Tonight, the Baie-Comeau Drakkar make their lone Harbour Station appearance of the season on the first Golden Year Gala of the year. This game will feature special discounted tickets for fans aged 60 and over ($10 upper bowl, subject to a box office surcharge), with classic pop music from the fifties and early-sixties set to be mixed into the arena DJ’s playlist.
  • The last time these two met the Sea Dogs were only beginning their winning streak. The win was nothing less than a miracle as Michael Kirkpatrick scored with just over two seconds remaining in the third period. He then won the game in a shootout.
  • Ironically, the Drakkar ended the Sea Dogs seven game winning streak last season at Harbour Station. The Drakkar defeated the Sea Dogs 3-2 in overtime after Gabriel Bourque scored 3:52 into the extra frame. Kirkpatrick had two goals in that game.
