Tomas Jurco and the Grand Rapids Griffins are a win away
from a Calder Cup Championship.
The Griffins, the American Hockey League affiliate of the
Detroit Red Wings, lead the Calder Cup Final 3-0 entering tonight’s Game 4
against the Syracuse Crunch.
Game time this evening is 8pm Atlantic. All games of the
Calder Cup Final can be seen for free on AHL Live.
The Griffins won the first two games of the series in
Syracuse, defeating the Crunch 3-1 and 6-4. On Wednesday, Grand Rapids returned
home and took a 3-0 series lead with a 4-2 victory.
Jurco’s only point in the series so far was a goal in
Game 2. He has a solid eight goals and six assists in 21 playoff games this
year.
The Crunch roster also features a former Sea Dogs forward
in Danick Gauthier. He has not played in the post-season.
