PREVIEW
QUISPAMSIS, NB – The Saint John Sea Dogs begin pre-season play tonight at the qplex in Quispamsis.

The Sea Dogs host the Acadie-Bathurst Titan this evening at 7pm. At the time of this writing, tickets to the game were still available.

This is the pre-season opener for both clubs. Each has been practicing and scrimmaging this past week and each will be icing young and rookie filled lineups tonight.

Several of Saint John’s new prospects have looked good in scrimmages. Tonight, we should get to see how they do in a somewhat real game situation. There are quite a few roster spots up for grabs so this should be an entertaining exhibition schedule.

So yeah… that’s pretty much all we have to say heading into this game. Hopefully it’s a good one.

The Sea Dogs and Titan also play tomorrow in Bathurst and meet twice again next weekend.

Saint John’s last game was on March 27th in Game 4 of the first-round of the 2013 QMJHL playoffs against the Halifax Mooseheads. The Sea Dogs lost 6-1 and the series 4-0. Maxime Villemaire scored Saint John’s lone goal while Sebastien Auger made 44 saves in the loss.
