Records: The Saint John Sea Dogs sit sixth in the Telus Maritimes Division and 17th overall in the QMJHL with an 11-25-0-3 record for 25 points. The Rimouski Oceanic sit first in the Telus East Division and second overall with a 24-11-3-4 record for 55 points.

Last games: The Sea Dogs are coming off a 2-1 win over the Acadie-Bathurst Titan on Sunday afternoon at Harbour Station. Matthew Highmore had a goal and an assist in that game. The Oceanic are coming off a 4-1 win over the Val-d’Or Foreurs on Saturday. Michael Joly scored twice.

2013-14 head-to-head: This is the first meeting of the season between the two. They meet again in Saint John on February 7th.
