GAMEDAY 56 - vs Wildcats

A preview of tonight’s game between the Moncton Wildcats and Saint John Sea Dogs…

Records: The Wildcats are second in the Telus Maritimes Division and 11th overall in the QMJHL with a 29-25-0-3 record for 61 points. The Sea Dogs are sixth in the Telus Maritimes Division and 16th overall with a 17-34-1-3 record for 38 points.

Last games: The Wildcats are coming off a 4-3 shootout loss in Charlottetown last night. Vladimir Tkachev had two goals. The Sea Dogs are coming off a 4-2 loss to the Gatineau Olympiques on Wednesday night at Harbour Station. Noah Zilbert had both Saint John goals.

2013-14 head-to-head: The Sea Dogs are 3-4-0-0 against the Wildcats this season while Moncton is 4-3-0-0 against Saint John. Moncton leads the all-important Rivalry Cup standings 4-3.

Last meeting: January 15th at the Moncton Coliseum when the Sea Dogs edged the Wildcats 4-3. Saint John scored twice in less than two minutes in the third period to seal the deal.
