Records: The Screaming Eagles are second in the Telus Maritimes Division with a record of 32-24-1-3 for 68 points. The Sea Dogs are sixth in the Telus Maritimes Division with a record of 18-37-1-3 for 40 points.

Last games: The Screaming Eagles are coming off a 3-2 overtime win in Charlottetown on Wednesday. Cape Breton had 55 shots on goal. The Sea Dogs are coming off a 2-1 win in Charlottetown on Sunday afternoon. Nathan Noel had two goals in that game.
