GAMEDAY 7 - vs Islanders

A preview of tonight’s game between the Charlottetown Islanders and Saint John Sea Dogs…

When and where: Tonight at 7 p.m., Harbour Station

Records: The Islanders sit second in the Maritimes Division and sixth overall in the QMJHL with a record of 4-2-1-0 for nine points. The Sea Dogs have a record of 3-1-0-2 for eight points and are fourth in the Maritimes and ninth overall.

Last games: Charlottetown is coming off a 5-3 loss to the Moncton Wildcats at Eastlink Centre on Sunday. Mitchell Balmas, Bradley Kennedy, and Julien Avon scored for the Isles. The Sea Dogs are coming off a 5-4 shootout loss to the Chicoutimi Sagueneens on Sunday at Harbour Station. Mark Tremaine, Samuel Dove-McFalls, Nathan Noel, and Daniel Del Paggio scored for the Dogs.

2014-15 head-to-head: The Sea Dogs are 0-0-0-1 against the Islanders this season while Charlottetown is 1-0-0-0 against Saint John.

Last meeting: September 12 in Charlottetown when the Isles defeated the Dogs 3-2 in a shootout on opening night. Adam Bateman and Julien Tessier had Saint John goals while Kameron Kielly and Daniel Sprong scored for Charlottetown. Sebastien Auger made 14 saves in the loss while Daryl MacCallum made 29 in the win.
