GAMEDAY 22: at Baie-Comeau

A preview of tonight’s game between the Saint John Sea Dogs and Baie-Comeau Drakkar…

Records: The Sea Dogs are first in the Maritimes Division, second overall in the QMJHL and are ranked third in CHL Top 10 with a 14-4-0-3 record for 31 points. The Drakkar are second in the East Division, fourth overall and 10th in the Top 10 with a 14-6-2-1 record for 31 points.

Last games: The Sea Dogs are coming off a 2-1 win in Chicoutimi last night. Mark Tremaine and Mathieu Joseph scored while Sebastien Auger made 24 saves in the win. The Drakkar are coming off a 7-3 loss to the Sagueneens on Thursday. Maxime St-Cyr, Luca Ciampini and Jasmin Boutet scored for the Drakkar. Goaltenders Philippe Cadorette and Reilly Pickard allowed seven goals on 36 shots.

2014-15 head-to-head: The Sea Dogs are 1-0-0-0 against the Drakkar this season while Baie-Comeau is 0-1-0-0 against Saint John.

Last meeting: Oct. 25 at Harbour Station when the Sea Dogs defeated the Drakkar 6-2.
