Records: The Sea Dogs are first in the Maritimes Division, second overall in the QMJHL and are ranked eighth in the CHL Top 10 with a 19-6-1-4 record for 43 points. The Tigres are fourth in the East Division and sixth overall with a 17-10-1-3 record for 38 points.

Last games: The Sea Dogs are coming off a 5-4 overtime victory over the Val-d’Or Foreurs on Sunday at Harbour Station. Mathieu Joseph, Adam Marsh, Adam Bateman, Daniel Del Paggio and Jakub Zboril all scored for Saint John while Alex Bishop made 27 saves in the win. The Tigres are coming off a 4-3 win over the Rimouski Oceanic on Sunday. Phil Pietroniro, Mathieu Ayotte, Gabriel Gagne and Felix Lauzon all scored for the Tigres while Chase Marchand made 31 saves.
