GAME DAY 34: vs Titan

A preview of tonight’s game between the Acadie-Bathurst Titan and Saint John Sea Dogs…

When and where: Tonight at 7 p.m., Harbour Station

Records: The Sea Dogs are first in the Maritimes Division, second overall in the QMJHL and ranked eighth in the CHL Top 10 this week with a record of 20-8-1-4 for 45 points. The Titan are last in the Maritimes and last overall with a record of 9-22-4-1 for 23 points.

Last games: The Sea Dogs are coming off a 4-2 loss in Val-d’Or last Saturday. Thomas Chabot and Justice Dundas scored in the loss while Sebastien Auger made 30 saves. The Titan are coming off a 3-2 overtime loss in Halifax last night. Aaron Kerr and Mark Trickett scored for Bathurst while Jacob Brennan made 26 stops in the loss.

2014-15 head-to-head: The Sea Dogs are 2-0-0-1 against the Titan this season while Bathurst is 1-2-0-0 against Saint John.

Last meeting: Nov. 30 at Harbour Station when the Titan defeated the Sea Dogs 4-3 in a shootout. Egor Popov, Alexandre Gosselin and Andrew Ryan scored for Bathurst while Spencer Smallman scored twice for Saint John and Jakub Zboril added a single. Jacob Brennan made 20 saves in the win and Sebastien Auger made 25 in the loss.
