Sea Dogs Fall To 8th In Top 10

The Saint John Sea Dogs have slid to eighth in the BMO CHL Top 10 Rankings.

The Sea Dogs had a tough week, losing 6-5 in Charlottetown on Thursday, defeating the Blainville-Boisbriand Armada 2-1 in a shootout on Friday and then falling 4-3 to the Acadie-Bathurst Titan in a shootout at Harbour Station on Sunday.

Saint John, 16-6-1-4, was one of three QMJHL teams in this week’s rankings. The Rimouski Oceanic came in third while the Armada were ranked 10^th.

The weekly rankings of the Canadian Hockey League’s Top 10 teams are selected by a panel of National Hockey League scouts.

This week, the Sea Dogs host the Rouyn-Noranda Huskies on Friday, travel to Halifax on Saturday and then return home to face the Val-d’Or Foreurs on Sunday.
