The Saint John Sea Dogs have slid to
eighth in the BMO CHL Top 10 Rankings.
The Sea Dogs had a tough week, losing
6-5 in Charlottetown on Thursday, defeating the Blainville-Boisbriand Armada 2-1
in a shootout on Friday and then falling 4-3 to the Acadie-Bathurst Titan in a
shootout at Harbour Station on Sunday.
Saint John, 16-6-1-4, was one of three
QMJHL teams in this week’s rankings. The Rimouski Oceanic came in third while
the Armada were ranked 10th.
The weekly rankings of the Canadian
Hockey League’s Top 10 teams are selected by a panel of National Hockey League
scouts.

This week, the Sea Dogs host the
Rouyn-Noranda Huskies on Friday, travel to Halifax on Saturday and then return
home to face the Val-d’Or Foreurs on Sunday.
