Sea Dogs Recall Mann-Dixon

Blade Mann-Dixon is back with the Saint John Sea Dogs.

The Sea Dogs announced this afternoon that they have recalled Mann-Dixon from the MHL’s Valley Wildcats. He is expected to dress for this weekend’s matches between the Sea Dogs and Cape Breton Screaming Eagles at Harbour Station.

The reasoning for the recall was not announced, but Sebastien Auger has been battling a lower body injury over the past couple weeks.

Mann-Dixon started the season with Saint John and posted a 1-1 record to go along with a 4.56 goals against average and .852 save percentage. Since being sent down to the Wildcats he has a record of 5-2-2 with a 2.49 GAA and .923 SV% in nine MHL games.

The Antigonish native also registered a 1-3-0-1 record in five games with Canada East at the World Junior A Challenge in December in Kindersley, Saskatchewan.

Saint John plays Cape Breton tonight at 7:30 p.m.
