GAME DAY 63: vs Wildcats

A preview of today’s game between the Moncton Wildcats and Saint John Sea Dogs…

Records: The Wildcats are first in the Maritimes Division, third overall in the QMJHL standings and ranked seventh in the CHL Top 10 rankings with a 42-17-0-3 record for 87 points. The Sea Dogs are second in the Maritimes and eighth overall with a 31-22-3-6 record for 71 points.

Last games: The Wildcats are coming off a 4-3 win over the Cape Breton Screaming Eagles on Friday night at Centre 200. Eric Leger, Cameron Askew, Conor Garland and Ivan Barbashev scored for Moncton while Alex Dubeau made 28 saves in the win. The Sea Dogs are coming off a 2-1 win loss in Bathurst on Friday. Luke Green and Mark Tremaine scored while Sebastien Auger made 28 saves in the victory.

2014-15 head-to-head: The Sea Dogs are 2-4-0-1 against the Wildcats this season while Moncton is 5-2-0-0 against Saint John.
