A preview of tonight’s game between the Saint John Sea Dogs and Moncton Wildcats…

Records: The Sea Dogs are second in the Maritimes Division and ninth overall in the QMJHL with a 31-24-3-6 record for 71 points. The Wildcats are first in the Maritimes, second overall and ranked seventh in the CHL Top 10 rankings with a 43-17-0-3 record for 89 points.

Last games: The Sea Dogs are coming off an 8-3 loss to the Cape Breton Screaming Eagles on Wednesday night at Harbour Station. Nathan Noel scored twice while Adam Bateman added a single. Sebastien Auger and Alex Bishop combined to make 28 saves in the loss. The Wildcats are coming off a 6-2 win over the Sea Dogs last Sunday at Harbour Station. Conor Garland, Stephen Johnson, Dominic Talbot-Tassi, Cameron Askew, Ivan Barbashev and Bronson Beaton scored for Moncton while Alex Dubeau made 26 stops in the win.
