The Lightning released 22 players from its training camp roster today. Along with Joseph and Imama, a number of other QMJHL players were sent back.
Imama scored at 18:41 of the third period in the Lightning's 3-2 loss to the Carolina Hurricanes last night in Tampa. He also had three shots and two hits in 10:28 of ice time.

With Imama being sent back to junior, the Sea Dogs have four 20-year-olds: Imama, Matthew Highmore, Spencer Smallman and Daniel Del Paggio. Since teams can only carry three overagers, a roster move will have to be made shortly.
Today's reassignments give the Sea Dogs even more reinforcements for Friday's home opener. This week, Nathan Noel, Samuel Dove-McFalls, Smallman, Imama and Joseph have all been sent back to Saint John.
Jakub Zboril (Boston Bruins), Thomas Chabot (Ottawa Senators) and Luke Green (Winnipeg Jets) remain at NHL camps.

So with the 4 twenty years olds, who do you trade? All are really good players and it would be a shame to see one go, but those are the rules and the GM is probably making a lot of call to the rest of the league to find a place for the odd man out. It's just the way Junior Hockey runs.
