Former Sea Dogs forward Kevin Gursoy scored yet another goal against his former club at 18:43 of the middle frame to get the Moose within one. Despite some strong pressure by Halifax in the final couple minutes of the third, they could not get another one past Patenaude.

Alexis Gravel made 37 stops in the loss.
