Game Day 46: at Charlottetown

CHARLOTTETOWN - For the first time in the second half, the Saint John Sea Dogs and Charlottetown Islanders will go head-to-head tonight at Eastlink Centre.

The Sea Dogs are 1-4-0-0 against the Islanders this season but all five of those meetings took place prior to the Quebec Major Junior Hockey League trade deadline. This will be the first meeting where both teams will have their "finalized" lineups on the ice (although there are injuries on both sides).

The Islanders officially sit third in the QMJHL standings, which is based on points, due to playing fewer games. They do, however, have the best winning percentage in the league. If the Sea Dogs want to win the President Cup this year, they'll need to figure out how to beat Charlottetown.

Note that tonight's game is a 7:30 p.m. start.
