Playoff Game Day 5: vs Olympiques

SAINT JOHN
- It's do or die for the Saint John Sea Dogs tonight.

The Sea Dogs are facing elimination following Wednesday's 6-0 loss to the Gatineau Olympiquues, a loss that puts them down 3-1 in the best-of-seven first round series.

Saint John kept it a one-goal game through 20 minutes thanks to another solid goaltending performance from Ventsislav Shingarov. But Gatineau blew it open in the second, scoring four times.

The Sea Dogs had a hard time staying disciplined on Wednesday, something they'll need to do if they want to extend this series. Shingarov, who has probably been Saint John's best player in this series, will likely need to be excellent again as well.

Game time for tonight's Game 5 is 7 p.m. Tickets to the game are just $7.
