Carter McCluskey is off to a hot start with his new team.

The former Saint John Sea Dogs forward has four goals and two assists in three games with the Fredericton Red Wings, who recently traded for the 20-year-old. McCluskey now leads the Maritime Hockey League in both goals (33) and points (67).

The Red Wings feature a few former Sea Dogs. Defensemen Nathan Casey and Jake Tracey have been with the club all season while recent moves brought in forward Francis Woods and defenseman Jared Cosman.

Woods got into three games this season with the Sea Dogs and had most recently been with the CCHL's Rockland Nationals. Cosman, meanwhile, spent the first half with the Acadie-Bathurst Titan after spending all of last season in Saint John.

Here's a quick look at how former Sea Dogs are performing in the MHL this season.
