Keeping track of NCAA commits

Rena Laverty
The Saint John Sea Dogs are poised to have several NCAA committed players on their roster this season.

Forwards Zachary Morin (Boston University), Dylan Krayer (Arizona State) and Alexander Donovan (Denver) along with defensemen Cameron Chartrand (Boston College) and Everett Baldwin (Providence) could all return to Saint John's lineup or have officially signed on to join.

That list doesn't include other NCAA committed who could make or join the team. Below is a list of all the NCAA committed players currently on Saint John's pre-season roster, which includes two players – Will Felicio (Union College) and JJ Monteiro (Providence) – who appear set to play college hockey this season.

2025-26 Commits
JJ Monteiro - Providence (Hockey East)
Will Felicio - Union College (ECAC)

2026-27 Commits
Alexander Donovan - Denver (NCHC)
Dylan Krayer - Arizona State (NCHC)
Zachary Morin - Boston University (Hockey East)
Everett Baldwin - Providence (Hockey East)
Samuel Doyon-Cataquiz - Quinnipiac (ECAC)

2027-28 Commits
Jamie Glance - Boston University (Hockey East)
Cameron Chartrand - Boston University (Hockey East)
Oskar Drabczynski - Harvard (ECAC)
Joshua Henry - Lindenwood (Independent)

It's worth noting that these commitments could always change. Players could change schools, defer or decommit from college hockey entirely, which makes for an even more chaotic new world we've entered.

There's also the possibility (it's a strong likelihood at this point) that other players on Saint John's roster will commit to US colleges in the future.

There will be a number of former Sea Dogs playing NCAA hockey this season, which will, of course, be a first. Here's the list:

Matteo Mann - Colorado College (NCHC)
Noah Reinhart - Michigan Tech (CCHA)
Nate Tivey - Quinnipiac (ECAC)
Charles-Edward Gravel - Mercyhurst (Atlantic Hockey)
Kale McCallum - Providence (Hockey East)
Cam MacDonald - New Hampshire (Hockey East)

The college hockey season begins the first weekend of October.
