The camp roster, which was released Thursday, features 34 forwards, 19 defensemen and eight goaltenders. 18 free agents are on the list along with two players on loan from other QMJHL teams.
Training camp begins Saturday with player registration. The first scrimmage takes place Sunday night at TD Station in what is being promoted as an exclusive session for season ticket members.

This is a huge camp roster – but it's a perfect storm for the Sea Dogs. Given where the club is at in their rebuild along with a large incoming draft class and the new NCAA rules, a big roster was going to happen. The intrigue is the fact that there are a number of jobs up for grabs at all positions, which sets up for a very competitive camp.
11 of the 12 players the Sea Dogs selected in this year's QMJHL Entry Draft are expected to attend camp. The lone omission is American forward Finnegan Sears, who is slated to join the USNTDP this season.
Only a handful of players will be delayed in arriving, according to the team. Defenseman Cameron Chartrand – along with head coach and general manager Travis Crickard – is overseas playing with Team Canada at the Hlinka Gretzky Cup. The other players with late arrivals are imports Olivers Murnieks and Max VilĂ©n.
The full camp roster can be found here.
Saint John's first pre-season game is Tuesday night in Moncton. They'll play the next night as well, hosting the Wildcats in St. Stephen.
