Records: The Sea Dogs are sixth in the Telus Maritimes
Division and 17th overall in the QMJHL with a 12-27-1-3 record for
28 points. The Islanders are fourth in the Telus Maritimes Division and 14th
overall with a 17-23-1-4 record for 39 points.
Last games: The Sea Dogs are coming off a 4-3 win in
Moncton on Wednesday. Noah Zilbert had two goals in that game. The Islanders are
coming off a 5-1 loss to the Halifax Mooseheads on Wednesday at the Metro
Centre. Alexandre Goulet had Charlottetown’s only goal.
2013-14 head-to-head: The Sea Dogs are 2-3-0-1 against
the Islanders this season while Charlottetown is 4-1-0-1 against Saint John.
Last meeting: December 13th in Charlottetown

and brought in a bunch of younger players during the trade period… 3-7-0-0 in
their last 10 games and have lost two straight… Charlottetown hasn’t been great
on the road this season, winning seven of 22 games… Daniel Sprong is second
amongst rookies in points (47), goals (20), and assists (27)… weirdly 5-12-1-3
when scoring first… Isles have lost nine straight road games.
SJ notes: Oliver Cooper, who has five goals against
Charlottetown this season, is the only Sea Dog with more than one goal against
the Isles this year… after his performance on Wednesday, Sebastien Auger has
the league’s best save percentage of 0.917… the Dogs are still averaging the most
shots against per game at 37.39… Noah Zilbert has goals in three straight games…
