Viboux Leaves Dogs Camp

Saint John’s training camp roster has been slightly trimmed down.

The team announced this morning that goaltender Tommy Viboux has left to register for the CEGEP school system in the province of Quebec.

Viboux, a 17-year old free agent invite, posted a 3.87 goals against average and .880 save percentage in 24 games with the Quebec Midget AAA Hockey League’s Saint-Eustache Vikings last season.

There are now four goaltenders remaining at Sea Dogs camp – Sebastien Auger, Chris Smith, Blade Mann-Dixon, and Bobby Dugan.

The team also announced that the Dogs will be practicing today and tomorrow at Harbour Station from 10:00 a.m. to 11:15 a.m. and 11:45 a.m. to 1:15 p.m.

Saint John’s next pre-season game is on Friday night at Harbour Station against the Halifax Mooseheads.
