Game Day 6: at Quebec

The Saint John Sea Dogs (3-2-0-0) begin the longest trip in team history tonight in Quebec City when they take on the Remparts (3-2-0-0). Game time is 8 p.m.

Last games: The Sea Dogs are coming off a 5-4 overtime win over the Gatineau Olympiques on Wednesday at Harbour Station. Mathieu Joseph had a hat trick while singles came from Alexandre Bernier and Jakub Zboril. Alex D’Orio made 10 saves in the win. The Remparts are coming off a 4-2 win over the Victoriaville Tigres at home Wednesday. Matthew Boucher, Jesse Sutton, Louis-Filip Cote and Derek Gentile scored for Quebec. Callum Booth made 30 saves in the win.

2016-17 head-to-head: This is the first meeting of the season between the two.

2015-16 head-to-head: The Sea Dogs went 1-0-1-0 against the Remparts last season while Quebec went 1-1-0-0 against Saint John.

Last meeting: Nov. 26, 2015 at Harbour Station where the Remparts defeated the Sea Dogs 4-3 in overtime. Yanick Turcotte, Nikolas Brouillard, Dmytro Timashov and Massimo Carozza all scored for Quebec while Saint John goals came from Joe Veleno, Adam Marsh and Mathieu Joseph. Brady Labrecque made 31 saves in the win while Marc-Antoine Turcotte made 27 stops in the loss.
