Saint John Sea Dogs captain Jonathan Huberdeau has
arrived in Florida. He is one of 32 players on the Panthers training camp
roster.
Florida Panthers players underwent physicals and photo shoots and all that good stuff today. Their first on-ice practice is tomorrow morning.
The Miami Herald has a great article on Huberdeau’s
arrival. The article says he could be put on a line with Stephen Weiss and
Marcel Goc.
Here’s a video from the Herald’s YouTube page.
Panther Parkway has an article comparing Huberdeau and
Jonathan Gaudreau.
As for the regular season, the Panthers open things up on
Saturday at home against the Carolina Hurricanes. They then hit the road for
games in Ottawa and Montreal. Their full schedule can be found here.
