Some other news and notes…
- Good to see Cedric Pare get in some game action and record an assist. He was injured in a rookie game earlier this week.
- Sea Dogs dressed an even more in-experienced team than they did on Thursday against Bathurst.
- Saint John really struggled on faceoffs again, winning just 28 of 72.
- Jonathan Mason was credited with five hits.
- Both Ben Reid and Benjamin Reade played. What a moment.
- Pierre-Olivier Joseph, the brother of Mathieu Joseph, played for the Islanders.
- If it makes you feel any better, five of Charlottetown’s seven goals were scored by key returning players.
- Alex Kealey and Isaac McGraw had fights.
