Game Day 22: at Val-d'Or

VAL-D'OR, Que. - The Saint John Sea Dogs will look to get things back on track tonight in Val-d'Or.

After winning the first two games of this five-game road trip, the Sea Dogs stumbled defensively on Tuesday night in Shawinigan, falling 8-5 to the Cataractes.

Tonight, the Dogs will try to start a new winning streak against the Foreurs. Game time is 8 p.m.

Records: The Sea Dogs are 8-12-1-0 for 17 points (fifth Maritimes, ninth Eastern, 15th QMJHL) while the Foreurs are 10-9-2-0 for 22 points (second West, fourth Western, 10th QMJHL).

Last games: The Sea Dogs are coming off an 8-5 loss in Shawinigan on Tuesday. Alex Drover, Brady Burns, Nicholas Deakin-Poot, Maxim Cajkovic and Jeremie Poirier all scored for Saint John. Zachary Bouthillier made 34 saves in the loss. The Foreurs are coming off a 3-2 shootout win in Quebec City on Sunday. David Noel and Jeremy Michel scored regulation time goals for Val-d'Or.
