Zachary Emond made 33 stops in the loss. The Wildcats are coming off a 5-3 win in Bathurst on Sunday. Nathan Casey, Tristan DeJong, Alexis Daniel, Thomas Darcy and Jacob Hudson all scored for Moncton. Rookie Vincent Filion earned his first QMJHL win, making 36 stops.

Last meeting: March 26 in Moncton where the Sea Dogs defeated the Wildcats 5-2. Brady Burns scored a pair for Saint John while singles came from Riley Bezeau, Leighton Carruthers and Cam MacDonald. Dominic Leblanc and Jacob Hudson scored for Moncton. Zachary Emond made 18 stops in the win. Dakota Lund-Cornish made 25 saves in the loss.

Wildcat to watch: Jacob Hudson is on an elite point streak. The Wildcats captain has scored in seven straight games. He's recorded eight goals and 10 assists during the seven-game stretch.
Random stat: The Sea Dogs, coming off an 8-2 loss, have not lost back-to-back games in the restart. Following their previous loss - a 6-2 setback to the Wildcats - Saint John responded with a 4-3 win in Bathurst a couple nights later.
