The Halifax Mooseheads have invited former Sea Dog Denis
Creighton to training camp.
The defending Memorial Cup Champions unveiled their camp roster yesterday. The 19-year old, who played in the Greater Ontario Junior Hockey League last year, will be in tough to make the Moose but, y’know, far
stranger things have happened.
Creighton joined the Sea Dogs as a free agent during the 2011-12 campaign. He played in 18 games, recording one assist and 12 penalty
minutes.
Halifax training camp begins tomorrow in Cole Harbour.
A few other notes:
- Ryan Tesink is on the training camp roster for the Blainville-Boisbriand Armada. This is his overage season if he plays junior.
- The Titan announced last night that rookie camp will continue today. They are scheduled to play Saint John this Saturday at the qplex and Sunday in Bathurst.
- The Sea Dogs still haven’t released their camp roster.
