While I have not watched every CCMA awards show since 2005, I am confident in saying Huberdeau becomes the first Saint John Sea Dogs alumnus to present an award at the event.👋 @JonnyHuby11!

ONE MORE TO GO
The Quebec Major Junior Hockey League's pre-season is finally inching close to the finish line.
The Sea Dogs will play on the pre-season's final day of action, taking on the Acadie-Bathurst Titan in Lameque, NB. Puck drop is at 4 p.m. and the game is supposed to be streamed for free on CHL TV.
The Sea Dogs are 1-2-0-0 against the Titan this pre-season, earning a wild 8-6 win on Sunday afternoon in Fredericton. That game got chippy at times, so this Sunday's contest could have an edge to it.
Sunday's game will be the second of four straight meetings between the Sea Dogs and Titan.
LEADERS
Following Sunday's eight-goal output by the Sea Dogs, 20-year-old Brady Burns has taken over the team's pre-season point lead with two goals and four assists for six points in just two games.
Cole Burbidge, Marshall Lessard (who has also played in just two games) and Alexis Cournoyer are all tied for second in team scoring with five points each.
Burbidge continues to lead Saint John in goals with three while Cournoyer has a team high five assists.
FREDERICTON ATTENDANCE
The Sea Dogs had an average of 975 fans per game for their four "home" matches at Fredericton's Aitken Centre this year. That's down from the 1,228 fans per game the Sea Dogs had for three contests last year.
2022 AttendanceThursday, Aug. 18 vs Moncton: 949Tuesday, Aug. 23 vs Bathurst: 817Friday, Sept. 9 vs Halifax: 1,159Sunday, Sept. 11 vs Bathurst: 9732021 AttendanceThursday, Aug. 19 vs Moncton: 1,173Wednesday, Aug. 25 vs Charlottetown: 1,197Saturday, Sept. 18 vs Bathurst: 1,314
Saint John's lone pre-season game at the Aitken Centre in 2019 had an announced attendance of 2,087.
