If you want to the Sea Dogs win games, this might be news for you. Saint John has yet to lose in regulation time against Bathurst this season. But if you want to see a variety of teams, this is not good news for you.
These two games with be the fifth and sixth meetings of the season between the Sea Dogs and Titan — a significant number given that it's just the first week of November.
Saint John is 3-0-0-1 against Bathurst this season.
The Sea Dogs host the Titan on Friday night before travelling to the KC Irving Regional Centre on Saturday for a 4 p.m. start.
Following this weekend's games, the Sea Dogs and Titan meet three more times this season: Dec. 31 in Saint John, Feb. 2 in Bathurst and March 14 in Saint John.
HOCKEY FIGHTS CANCER
The Sea Dogs will be holding their annual Hockey Fights Cancer themed game on Friday. The team will be sporting pink/purple jerseys per usual.

Friday's match will also feature intermission performances from The Artificially Hip, a Tragically Hip cover band.

BEAULIEU SIGNS
Nathan Beaulieu has signed with the National League's EHC Kloten in Switzerland.
Beaulieu, an unrestricted free agent, was not signed over the summer. He took part in Carolina Hurricanes training camp on a tryout basis.
The 30-year-old has played in 471 career NHL games with the Montreal Canadiens, Buffalo Sabres, Winnipeg Jets and Anaheim Ducks. He appeared n 52 games with the Ducks last season.
There are a few other former Sea Dogs playing in the National League this season: Chris DiDomenico, Tomas Jurco, Eric Gelinas and Robert Mayer.
POIRIER INJURED
Some really unfortunate news for Jeremie Poirier, who was having a tremendous start with the AHL's Calgary Wranglers.

Jeremie Poirier suffered a skate laceration of his arm in the game in Abbotsford on October 21st.
Poirier will require surgery to repair the laceration. He will be out of the Wranglers’ lineup indefinitely. pic.twitter.com/0nM2JiXNST
Poirier had a goal and six assists in his first four games of the season. At the time of this writing, he still sat fourth in AHL defensemen scoring.
OTHER THINGS
- Thomas Chabot has been placed on LTIR by the Ottawa Senators, which almost flew under the radar given the current levels of chaos surrounding the Sens. Chabot fractured his hand while blocking a shot.
- Troy Mann, the uncle of Sea Dogs defenseman Matteo Mann, has been named head coach of the OHL's Kingston Frontenacs. Mann was born in Campbellton.
- The renovations to Drummondville's Marcel Dionne Centre are still a couple years away, reports L'Express.
- Beginning Friday, neck guards will be mandatory in the WHL. According to Mikael Lalancette, they've been mandatory in the QMJHL since way back in the 1990s.
- The Cape Breton Post has a story on former Sea Dog and current Eagle Cole Burbidge, who is off to a great start in Sydney.
- The Bridgeport Islanders website has a story on William Dufour and his mother, Karine Cote.
- The Halifax Mooseheads erased a 4-0 third period deficit on Wednesday to defeat the Acadie-Bathurst Titan 5-4 in a shootout.
