- Sea Dogs president and general manager Trevor Georgie appeared to be one of the more active GMs on Friday night in terms of walking around the draft floor.
- Sea Dogs owner and CEO Scott McCain on the pick No. 14 drama.

- The Sea Dogs used a timeout before making their pick at 31st overall.
- The Sea Dogs traded goaltender Arseni Radkov to the Val-d'Or Foreurs ahead of pick No. 42. In exchange, the Foreurs traded the 42nd overall pick, a ninth-round pick in 2026, a fourth-round pick in 2027 and a second-round pick in the 2026 CHL Import Draft.
- Saint John then traded the 42nd overall pick to the Blainville-Boisbriand Armada for no compensation, completing a part of the original Radkov deal.
- The Sea Dogs made a trade in the 10th-round, moving the 167th overall pick to the Drummondville Voltigeurs in exchange for an eighth-round pick in 2027.
- The Moncton Wildcats selected Olivier Sevigny in the 10th-round, who is the younger brother of former Sea Dogs captain Vincent Sevigny.
- There was a loud ovation when the Sea Dogs selected Thomas Bond in the 12th and final round. Bond was in attendance with a large group of family and friends.
- Former and current Sea Dogs in attendance: Josh Lawrence, Cam MacDonald, Vincent Sevigny, Brady Burns, Mike Thomas, Peter Reynolds, Connor Trenholm, Alexis Joseph, Alexander Donovan, Olivier Groulx and Dylan Rozzi.
Brian Casey and(CORRECTION: Casey was not in attendance... although someone that looked like him clearly was) Darren Burns, who were behind the Sea Dogs bench following Travis Crickard's departure, were both at the draft with the club.
