Sea Dogs have a road heavy November

Sunday's oddly scheduled game in Sydney kicked off a road heavy month for the Saint John Sea Dogs.

The Sea Dogs will play 11 games in November and just three of them will take place at TD Station. It's the exact opposite of October's schedule, which saw the Sea Dogs play seven of their 11 games on home ice.

The Sea Dogs fell 5-1 in Cape Breton last Sunday, a game that took place less than 24 hours after Saint John played at TD Station. The team will be on the road again this weekend, visiting Halifax on Saturday and Charlottetown on Sunday.

Saint John is 4-3-0-0 on the road this season.

Here's a look at Saint John's remaining November games.

Saturday, Nov. 7 at Halifax

Sunday, Nov. 8 at Charlottetown

Thursday, Nov. 12 vs Quebec

Friday, Nov. 13 at Moncton

Sunday, Nov. 15 vs Rimouski

Friday, Nov. 20 at Moncton

Saturday, Nov. 21 vs Moncton

Thursday, Nov. 26 at Val-d'Or

Friday, Nov. 27 at Rouyn-Noranda

Sunday, Nov. 29 at Victoriaville

There are a few notable games coming up.

This Sunday's will be Jim Hulton's first game in Charlottetown since joining the Sea Dogs in the off-season. It will be just the second meeting of the year between the Dogs and Islanders.

Next Thursday's home game will be the Quebec Remparts' lone regular season visit to TD Station. It'll be a big time NHL Draft showdown with Alexis Joseph and Jamie Glance taking on Carter Meyer and James Scantlebury. It's a shame this game is on a Thursday.

The Sea Dogs will face the Wildcats three times in November, including back-to-back Fridays at Avenir Centre.

Lastly, the Sea Dogs will venture into northwest Quebec to face the first-place Val-d'Or Foreurs. They'll also visit the Rouyn-Noranda Huskies and Victoriaville Tigres on the three-game trip.
