The Canadian Hockey League today announced its most recent BMO CHL MasterCard Top 10 rankings for the 2009-10 season.
The Saint John Sea Dogs are once again ranked number one for the fifth straight week. Two other Quebec Major Junior Hockey League teams managed to crack the upper echelon of the CHL: The Moncton Wildcats and the Drummondville Voltigeurs.
Saint John went 2-1-0-0 this week. They easily defeated Bathurst on Wednesday and then took down the Screaming Eagles 3-2 on Friday night. They had their first set back in seven games on Sunday, falling 4-2 to Cape Breton.
The weekly rankings of the Canadian Hockey League's top 10 teams are selected by a panel of National Hockey League scouts.
