The Saint John Sea Dogs, coming off a 4-3 home ice win over the Halifax Mooseheads, and the Moncton Wildcats, coming off a 3-2 overtime victory in Charlottetown, clash this evening. It's the first meeting of the year between the New Brunswick rivals after not playing each at all during the pre-season.

Josh Lawrence, Nicholas Deakin-Poot, James White and William Poirier all scored for Saint John. Charles-Antoine Lavallee made 24 saves in the win. Mikhail Denisov made 27 stops in the loss.
