Game Day 13: at Quebec

QUEBEC CITY - The Saint John Sea Dogs will face one of the best teams in the Quebec Major Junior Hockey League tonight.

The Sea Dogs are in Quebec City where they'll face the 9-3-0-0 Remparts. After a hot start, Quebec has cooled a little, dropping back-to-back games heading into this matchup.

Saint John heads into this challenging three-in-three road trip with a 5-5-0-2 record. It'll be interesting to see how the team performs on the big stage (Videotron Centre) against one of the league's top teams.

Jonathan Lemieux made 26 saves in the win. The Remparts are coming off a 5-2 loss in Sherbrooke on Saturday. Pierre-Olivier Roy and Christophe Farmer scored for Quebec. William Rousseau made 25 stops in the loss.

Last meeting: Jan. 29, 2020 when the Remparts defeated the Sea Dogs 4-1 at Videotron Centre. Anthony Gagne, Pierrick Dube, Jacob Melanson and Nathan Gaucher all scored for the Remparts. Dawson Stairs scored Saint John's lone goal. Tristan Cote-Cazenave made 29 saves in the win. Noah Patenaude made 38 stops in the loss.

Remparts to watch: Forward Nathan Gaucher, projected to be a first-round pick in this year's NHL Draft, has six goals and five assists in 12 games.
