20-year-old forward Natan Éthier, who has been listed as a healthy scratch for the past three games, has signed with the BCHL's West Kelowna Warriors, it was announced Friday.
Éthier made his Warriors debut on Friday night and made quite a first impression, netting a hat trick in West Kelowna's 5-3 win over the Brooks Bandits.
— West Kelowna Warriors (@BCHLWarriors) November 1, 2025Former Sea Dogs forward Dylan Krayer is also on the Warriors' roster.
Éthier, who was an alternate captain, appeared in 10 games with the Sea Dogs this season, posting two goals and four assists. His final game with the club was on Oct. 24 in Newfoundland.
Prior to joining the Sea Dogs, Éthier spent four seasons with the Shawinigan Cataractes. He played just five games last season due to an early season injury that required surgery.
It will be interesting to see how – and when – the Sea Dogs fill this open 20-year-old spot. They could certainly use an impactful overager at any position. Currently, the team's two overagers are forward Angelo Fullerton and defensemen Julien Wasmer.
The Sea Dogs are back in action on Sunday when they host the Moncton Wildcats at 3 p.m.

We seem to have difficulty finding the third 20 year old slot. I’m hoping the spot is filled with a goalie.
