Game Day 56: vs Wildcats

SAINT JOHN - The Moncton Wildcats make a visit to Harbour Station tonight.

The Saint John Sea Dogs have three wins in seven matches against the Wildcats this season. The Acadie-Bathurst Titan are the only other team that Saint John has three or more wins against.

The President Cup, Memorial Cup and some Sea Dogs alumni will be in the building as part of the league's 50th anniversary tour.

Game time tonight is 7 p.m.

Records: The Sea Dogs are 12-39-2-2 for 28 points (fifth Maritimes, ninth Eastern, 17th QMJHL) while the Wildcats are 29-18-3-4 for 65 points (fourth Maritimes, sixth Eastern, eighth QMJHL).

Last games: The Sea Dogs are coming off a 6-0 loss in Charlottetown on Wednesday night. Mikhail Denisov made 31 stops in the loss. The Wildcats are coming off a 5-3 win in Bathurst on Tuesday night. Charles-Antoine Giguere, Dylan Seitz, Elliot Desnoyers, Adam Capannelli and Jakob Pelletier scored for Moncton. Francis Leclerc made 28 stops in the win.

2018-19 head-to-head: The Sea Dogs are 3-4-0-0 against the Wildcats this season while Moncton is 4-3-0-0 against Saint John.

Last meeting: Feb. 10 at Harbour Station where the Wildcats defeated the Sea Dogs 5-3. Jakob Pelletier scored twice for Moncton while singles came from Jacob Hudson, Alexander Khovanov and Jeremy McKenna. Saint John goals came from Josh Lawrence, Brady Burns and William Poirier. Francis Leclerc made 28 stops in the win. Mikhail Denisov allowed five goals on 27 shots before being pulled. Zachary Bouthillier made six saves in relief.
