Game Day 13: vs Islanders

SAINT JOHN - The Saint John Sea Dogs and Charlottetown Islanders meet again tonight.

The Sea Dogs scored four goals in the third period last night to send the game into overtime. The Islanders eventually won the match in overtime by score of 7-6 - but the Dogs did get an earned road point out of it.

Game time tonight is 7 p.m. at TD Station.

Records: The Sea Dogs are 4-7-1-0 for nine points (fifth Maritimes, eighth Eastern, 13th QMJHL) while the Islanders are 8-1-3-0 for 19 points (first Maritimes, first Eastern, second QMJHL).

Josh Lawrence and Jeremie Poirier each scored twice for Saint John while Nicholas Deakin-Poot and Joshua Roy also connected. Rookie Jacob Goobie allowed six goals on 31 shots in the win. Noah Patenaude allowed seven goals on 32 shots in the loss.
