Michael Hawkins/Saint John Sea Dogs |
The Sea Dogs have just two exhibition contests remaining before the regular season begins on Sept. 22. Both of their remaining games will be against the Charlottetown Islanders — the first of which takes place this afternoon at UPEI's Bell Aliant Centre.
The Sea Dogs are coming off a rough 10-2 loss to the Acadie-Bathurst Titan in Saint-Quentin, NB on Friday night. As the score would indicate, the Sea Dogs struggled defensively all game long, something they'll look to correct today.
This is the third meeting of the pre-season between the two. Saint John earned a 5-4 home win back on Aug. 22 and then fell 6-4 the next night in PEI.
Game time today is 3 p.m.
