Game Day 3: at Charlottetown

CHARLOTTETOWN
- The Saint John Sea Dogs will look for their first win of the season tonight against the Charlottetown Islanders.

The Sea Dogs dropped both of their games last weekend, falling 3-0 to the Moncton Wildcats and 5-2 to the Halifax Mooseheads. Saint John certainly has some things to improve on, notably limiting defensive breakdowns and generating more high quality scoring chances.

Saint John's offense should get a boost tonight. Forwards Eriks Mateiko and Tyler Peddle were both reassigned to Saint John from their respective NHL clubs this week. Both will need to lead Saint John's offense if the team wants to have success this season.

Game time tonight at Eastlink Centre is 7 p.m.
