Game Day 29: at Chicoutimi

Michael Hawkins/Saint John Sea Dogs
CHICOUTIMI, QC - The losing streak is over. Now we'll see what kind of momentum the Saint John Sea Dogs can maintain from last night's win.

The Sea Dogs won their first game since Nov. 20 last night, defeating the Baie-Comeau Drakkar 4-3 in overtime. The victory ended a six-game losing streak, one that saw Saint John tumble to 17th overall.

Saint John will try and make it back-to-back wins tonight – but it certainly won't be easy. They'll face the Chicoutimi Sagueneens – who currently sit second in the QMJHL standings and were ranked fifth in this week's CHL Top 10 – on the big ice at the Georges Vezina Centre. Game time is 8 p.m.

This is the second game of a three-game Quebec road trip for Saint John – and, on paper, this will be the toughest. They visit the Quebec Remparts on Saturday.
