Game Day 29: at Drummondville

DRUMMONDVILLE, Que. - The Saint John Sea Dogs continue their Quebec road trip tonight.

After falling 2-1 in Gatineau last night, the Sea Dogs will take on the Voltigeurs in Drummondville this evening. Game time is 8 p.m.

Following tonight's contest, the Sea Dogs play the final match of this three-in-three trip on Sunday afternoon in Quebec City.

Records: The Sea Dogs are 7-15-4-2 for 20 points (6th Maritimes, 17th QMJHL) while the Voltigeurs are 18-8-1-1 for 38 points (2nd West, 4th QMJHL).

Last games: The Sea Dogs are coming off a 2-1 loss in Gatineau last night. Ostap Safin scored Saint John's lone goal while Matt Williams made 27 saves in the loss. The Voltigeurs are coming off a 5-2 home loss to the Rimouski Oceanic last night. Robert Lynch and Pavel Koltygin scored for Drummondville. Olivier Rodrigue only faced 14 shots but allowed four goals.

2017-18 head-to-head: This is the first meeting of the season between the Sea Dogs and Voltigeurs. They meet again next Wednesday at Harbour Station.
