The Sea Dogs lost their fourth straight game - and this one was by far the ugliest - falling 9-0 to the Moncton Wildcats at Avenir Centre. Saint John's defensive struggles were the storyline once again with the Dogs allowing 50 shots against.
The Sea Dogs have now allowed a wild 29 goals against during this four-game skid. That's a lot of goals - too many goals. This is still a rebuilding year, but the Dogs need to find/make some adjustments. It's early, but this is going to be a long season if some things aren't improved. Allowing a half dozen goals against in every game isn't good for anyone's development.
The Sea Dogs website has a game recap.
NEXT GAME: The Sea Dogs visit the Acadie-Bathurst Titan on Thursday at 7 p.m.
