The Saint John Sea Dogs made a trade
this morning, dealing forward Cody Grant to the Charlottetown Islanders.

In exchange, the Sea Dogs receive a
conditional tenth-round pick in the 2017 QMJHL Entry Draft.
Grant, an eighth-round pick of Saint
John in the 2014 QMJHL Entry Draft, played in two games with the Sea Dogs last
season, going pointless.
The 18-year-old played in 42 games with
the MHL’s County Aces last season, recording six goals and five assists.
The Sea Dogs are in action tonight, hosting the Cape Breton Screaming Eagles in pre-season play at 7 p.m.
