The Saint John Sea Dogs have released
their rookie camp roster.
39 players are expected to attend the
camp - 23 forwards, 14 defencemen and two goaltenders. The full roster can be found here.
The camp will be highlighted by three
first round picks - goaltender Alex D’Orio (9th overall in 2015) and
forwards Credic Pare (10th overall in 2015) and Olivier Mathieu (11th
overall in 2016).
Alexander Vdovenko, Saint John’s top
pick in this year’s CHL Import Draft, will also be in attendance. American
defenseman Paul Edson, who the Sea Dogs signed in May, will be on the ice as
well.
The players will be split into two teams
and will take part in three intrasquad games – one on Wednesday and two on Thursday.
Saint John begins pre-season play on Friday against the Halifax Mooseheads at the Hub City Classic.
